“The Lovers” Mural by artist Kimchi Juice, AKA Julia Chon, is located on the right sidewall of the Waynesboro Family YMCA. This mural was created as part of the 2020 VA Street Arts Festival, and it features a pair of cranes with a background of lotus flowers. This mural was done on the tallest wall the artist had tackled at the time of its completion.
“Father and Child” Mural by artist Nils Westergard is located on the front of the Waynesboro Family YMCA. This mural was created as part of the 2020 VA Street Arts Festival, as well. The depiction is a father and his little girl playing in a swimming pool. This mural was the artist’s first full color mural at the time of its completion.
