Hiker Fest definitely has something for everyone. We also offer exclusive discounts for AT thru hikers and a complimentary breakfast for anyone with their AT hangtag. Join us as we come together to celebrate nature, music, and the joy of exploration at Hiker Fest! Admission is FREE! Bring your 2025 thru hangtag for free breakfast and LOTS of deals from vendors!

Hiker Fest Kick Off Party Friday, June 6, 2025.

AT Thru Hikers! This is for you! Start the Hiker Fest weekend off with some Trail Magic at Rockfish Gap when you hop off the trail. Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association and Waynesboro Tourism will be hosting a hiker feed from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. We’ll also be running shuttles down the mountain and into Waynesboro all day. Live music at Delly Up starts at 5 pm with Jess and Casey Show and the Alex Arbaugh Trio plays from 7-9pm. Hikers can also enjoy free camping downtown. Stop by the YMCA, Waynesboro Public Library, or Waynesboro Visitors Center to get your free two night camping pass.
